The Redwood Eye Center in Vallejo, California is notifying victims of a September 19, 2018 patient records security incident.  Approximately 16,055 patient records were stored by their EHR vendor IT Lighthouse which experienced a ransomware attack affecting records which included names, addresses, DOB, health insurance and medical treatment information.

As a result of the breach, Redwood Eye Center has since changed its EHR hosting vendor.
