NYC Bike Share credit card breach
NYC Bike Share has announced that Oregon-based Alta Bicycle Share, the company that operates Citi Bike for NYC Bike Share, that on July 23 that back on April 23rd, Alta Bicycle Share had divulged 1,174 of Citi Bike's 180,000 customers' data which includes their name, address and credit card number, expiration date and security code. The breach apparently was visible through a "URL error" and "there was no evidence that anyone had misused the data."
