100's victims at Boston Convention & Exhibition Center

Edward McCabe, the chief medical officer for the March of Dimes, and hundreds of others have found themselves on the receiving end of credit card fraud after visiting conventions and surrounding businesses in Boston.  Approximately 9,000 Massachusetts residents have been victims of credit card and social security number breaches since June.  Restaurants in the surrounding area of the convention center are the most vulnerable due to the physical handling of credit cards out of the line of sight of customers.  Massachusetts was the originator of the 2007 TJX hacking scandal where over 130 million credit card numbers had been acquired.
